The Boston Redsox bested the Baltimore Orioles by a 5 to 2 score at Fenway
Park.

In the bottom of the 2nd inning Boston scored 3 runs with the help of 3 hits.
That early run support was all that Jon Lester(3-0) required. Baltimore had
a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short.

Lester got help from Jonathan Papelbon who was credited with his 6th save.
Tommy Hunter(0-2) took the loss. He surrendered 3 runs and 4 hits in 4 and
2/3 innings.

'This was a tough loss,' said Craig Lombardi, 'the kind that sticks with you
for awhile.'
