At SAFECO Field, the Seattle fans witnessed a great pitcher's duel.  Michael
Pineda(2-1) finally bested his Toronto opposite, Brett Cecil(1-3), by the
score of 3 to 1.
 
Toronto was unable to climb back into it after Seattle went ahead for good in
the bottom of the 6th inning scoring a single run.  The Toronto bats were
silent in the 9th.  
 
Brandon League recorded the save, his 2nd.  Cecil was the loser.  He gave up 3
runs and 4 hits in 7 and 1/3 innings.
