Catcher Kurt Suzuki had 2 base hits at Progressive Field as the Oakland A's
beat the Cleveland Indians by the count of 2 to 1.
 
Oakland scored 2 runs in the decisive top of the 5th inning when they came up
with 3 base hits.  They would be enough to earn the win.  Both teams totaled
6 hits on the afternoon.  
 
The win went to Gio Gonzalez(3-2) who allowed 1 run in 6 and 2/3 innings.
Gonzalez got help from Andrew Bailey who earned his 5th save.  The losing
pitcher was Fausto Carmona(0-1).  He surrendered 5 hits and 1 walk in 4 and
2/3 innings.
