Doug Davis dominated striking out 12 Los Angeles(NL) batters and Stephen Drew
left the yard and had 3 RBI at Dodger Stadium as the Arizona club beat the
Los Angeles(NL) Dodgers by the count of 10 to 1.

Drew had a big day at the plate. He doubled in the 1st inning, doubled in the
3rd inning and lost the ball over the fence for three runs (his 1st of the
season) in the 7th inning. Arizona managed 11 hits in their victory.

The winning pitcher was Davis(1-0) who allowed 1 run for the game. Chan Ho
Park(0-1) was charged with the loss. He was knocked around by Arizona,
allowing 11 hits and 6 walks in 7 and 2/3 innings.

'He was really impressive today,' Park said of his counterpart. 'Our guys
were just swinging at air.'
