The St. Louis Cardinals edged the Arizona team in 11 innings at Chase Field by
the score of 4 to 3.

The score was knotted at 3 after nine innings. St. Louis was victorious in
the 11th inning. Troy Glaus drew a walk. Yadier Molina was next and he
grounded into a double play. Aaron Miles then slapped a one-base hit. Jason
Larue was up next and he doubled. St. Louis and Arizona each finished the
afternoon with 14 hits.

The win was credited to Jason Isringhausen(1-0) who went 2 innings allowing 1
run. Ryan Franklin recorded his 2nd save. Chad Qualls(2-1) absorbed the loss
in relief.
