Washington Nationals won a dramatic crowd-pleaser over Atlanta Braves at
Nationals Park pulling it out in their last at bats, 6 to 5.

Washington scored the deciding run in the bottom of the 9th inning. Ryan
Zimmerman delivered a one-base hit. Lastings Milledge stepped up next and he
stroked a base-hit. Austin Kearns then drew a walk to load the bases.
Ronnie Belliard stepped in and he lined a base-hit giving Washington the win
and sending the home town fans into a frenzy. Overall Washington out-hit
Atlanta 15 to 10.

The win was credited to Steven Shell(1-0) who went 1 inning allowing no runs.
Buddy Carlyle(0-1) was the losing pitcher in relief.
