At Turner Field the Atlanta Braves easily handled the San Francisco Giants by
the score of 6 to 2.

Atlanta had 3 runs cross the plate in the bottom of the 3rd inning with the
help of 3 hits. The early run support proved sufficient for Jair
Jurrjens(1-0) and Atlanta. That was all the run support Jurrjens required.
Atlanta and San Francisco each finished the afternoon with 9 hits.

Jurrjens was helped out by Mike Gonzalez who recorded his 1st save. Barry
Zito(0-1) was hit with the loss. He surrendered 7 hits and 1 walk in 5
innings.
