WEB GEMS- Top 1st: Nick Markakis robbed Kelly Shoppach of an extra base hit.

Designated hitter Aubrey Huff connected with a 'big fly' and had 5 RBI at
Camden Yards as the Baltimore Orioles came back dramatically to top the
Cleveland Indians by the score of 10 to 8.

Baltimore scored the decisive runs in a big 9th inning scoring 3 runs on 3
hits. Brian Roberts led off and keyed the rally when he singled. Nick
Markakis struck out, unable to help the rally. Melvin Mora then lined a
one-base hit. Huff stepped in and he rifled a three-run blast (his 2nd of
the season) resulting in an exciting win for Baltimore and a raucous
post-game celebration by the home town fans. Baltimore had 14 hits overall,
while Cleveland had 9.

The victory went to Jim Johnson(1-0) who went 2 and 2/3 innings, allowing no
runs. Rafael Perez(0-1) ended up with the loss in relief. Dave Trembley was
all smiles after the ballgame, 'It sure was looking pretty dim there for a
while, but our guys never gave up - and neither did our fans - they kept
cheering us on. What a sweet win!'
