Zack Greinke tossed a complete game and third baseman Alex Gordon had 2 base
hits and 2 RBI at Rogers Centre where the Kansas City Royals beat the Toronto
Bluejays 6 to 1.

The game started off with Kansas City taking the lead in the first with 2 runs
using 4 hits. After an out was recorded, Mark Grudzielanek began the Kansas
City spurt when he lashed a single. Gordon stepped up next and he stroked a
one-base hit. Jose Guillen then lined a base-hit. Mark Teahen followed and
he hit a deep fly. Billy Butler came to the plate and delivered a single.
That early scoring held up. Kansas City finished with 10 hits in the
victory.

Greinke(1-0) was the winner allowing 1 run for the game. The loss was charged
to A.J. Burnett(0-1). He surrendered 3 runs and 7 hits in 8 innings.
