John Danks tossed a complete game at US Cellular Field as the Chicago (AL)
Whitesox beat the Cleveland Indians 7 to 1.

Chicago (AL) went ahead for good in the 2nd inning scoring 3 runs using 2
hits. Jermaine Dye led off and keyed the rally when he was hit by a pitch.
Jim Thome next to the plate and he drew a walk. Paul Konerko then laced a
base-knock. A.J. Pierzynski got his turn next, but he was a strikeout
victim. Nick Swisher came to the plate and delivered a single, and an error
was also committed. Juan Uribe added to the rally and hit a deep fly. That
early scoring was all that Danks(2-0) needed. Chicago (AL) managed only 6
hits on the afternoon.

C.C. Sabathia(2-2) was the loser. He allowed 6 hits and 2 walks in 8 innings.
