It was a laugher out at Fenway Park. The Boston Redsox squad ripped Detroit
pitching for a total of 11 runs. Justin Masterson(1-0)with bullpen support
held Detroit to 1 run.

It was a good day for Boston thanks to J.D. Drew. He doubled plating two runs
in the 4th inning and smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' (his 3rd of the season)
in the 7th inning. Boston out-hit Detroit for the game, 14 hits to 7.

Kenny Rogers(0-2) absorbed the loss. By surrending 8 runs in 5 innings his
ERA jumped from 1.17 to 6.39.
