Baseballs were flying all over the ballpark as the Boston Redsox ran roughshod
over the seemingly hapless Texas Rangers. The Boston offense rolled up a
total of 8 runs!.

Boston took the lead off Scott Feldman in the first inning when they scored 5
runs on 3 hits. The early run support proved sufficient for Daisuke
Matsuzaka(2-1) and Boston. That was all the run support Matsuzaka required.
Boston had 9 hits for the afternoon.

The losing pitcher was Feldman(0-1). He was hit hard and gave up 8 hits and 3
