Left fielder Carlos Quentin cracked 2 homeruns as the Chicago (AL) Whitesox
defeated the ice-cold Baltimore Orioles by the score of 9 to 3 at US Cellular
Field.

Baltimore was unable to claim the lead after Chicago (AL) went ahead in the
bottom of the 4th inning when they scored 2 runs on 3 hits. The big moment
was provided by Orlando Cabrera who excited the crowd when he lined a single
bringing in two baserunners. Chicago (AL) had 13 hits for the afternoon
while Baltimore had 7.

The win went to D.J. Carrasco(2-0) who allowed no runs in 2 and 2/3 innings.
Octavio Dotel gained credit for his 2nd save. Daniel Cabrera(2-1) was tagged
with the loss.

The Chicago (AL) ballclub's record now stands at 13-11. Dave Trembley was
unhappy with his club's recent performance. 'We can't keep losing games' he
said. 'It gets to be embarrassing after a while.'
