Seattle Mariners won a dramatic crowd-pleaser over Oakland A's at SAFECO Field
pulling it out in their last at bats, 2 to 1.

Seattle won the game with a run in the bottom of the 9th inning. Jose Lopez
delivered a solo blast (his 3rd of the season) making Seattle the victor and
beginning a joyous home town celebration. The game was a scoreless duel
until the 6th inning.

Cesar Jimenez(2-0) got the win allowing no runs in 1/3 of an inning. Dana
Eveland(0-5) absorbed the loss. He allowed just 2 runs and 4 hits in 8
innings.
