Justin Morneau blasted a homerun as the Minnesota Twins beat the Kansas City
Royals by a score of 4 to 0.

Minnesota tallied 2 runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning when they had 3 base
hits. That early scoring held up. Despite losing, Kansas City out-hit
Minnesota 12 to 8.

The win was credited to Kevin Slowey(3-0) who went 8 and 1/3 innings allowing
no runs. Slowey got relief help from Joe Nathan who gained credit for his 6th
save. Zack Greinke(1-3) took the loss.
