At Comerica Park, the Detroit fans witnessed a great pitcher's duel. Jeremy
Bonderman(3-1) finally bested his Chicago (AL) opposite, Freddy Garcia(3-5),
by the score of 3 to 0.

Detroit started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their half of the
first plating an isolated run. That was all Bonderman needed. The pitchers
took over after the 4th inning as neither team was able to score again.

Troy Percival earned his 4th save. Garcia absorbed the loss. He allowed 7
hits and 1 walk in 4 and 1/3 innings.
