Alfonso Soriano slammed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Texas Rangers topped
the New York (AL) Yankees by a score of 9 to 1 at Yankee Stadium.

Soriano had a big day against New York (AL). He smashed a solo-shot out of
the park in the 4th inning, lined a base-hit in the 6th inning and lifted one
out of the park for a two run home run (his 10th of the season) in the 7th
inning. Texas ended up with 13 hits for the game while New York (AL) had 6.

Kenny Rogers(4-1) got the win allowing 1 run in 6 and 2/3 innings. Chien-Ming
