Robinson Cano had 5 hits and 3 RBI as the ice-cold Kansas City Royals were
badly beaten by the New York (AL) Yankees, 15 to 4.

The New York (AL) fans enjoyed the offense provided by Cano. He delivered a
single in the 1st inning, cleared the fences for a two-run home run (his 4th
of the season) in the 3rd inning, tripled scoring a run in the 3rd inning,
delivered a one-base hit in the 5th inning and lined a base-hit in the 8th
inning. New York (AL) provided plenty of action in the 3rd inning with 9
runs on 6 hits. New York (AL) out-hit Kansas City for the game, 18 hits to
6.

The win was credited to Aaron Small(3-0) who went 4 and 1/3 innings allowing
no runs. Zack Greinke(3-3) was the loser. He allowed 3 homeruns in 2 and 2/3
innings of work.
