Alex Rios launched 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Chicago (AL) Whitesox
bested the Detroit Tigers 5 to 2 at Comerica Park.

Rios provided much of the offense. He lofted a three-run 'big-fly' in the 3rd
inning, ripped a solo home run in the 4th inning and singled in the 9th
inning. Chicago (AL) finished with 8 hits while Detroit ended up with 5.

Mark Buehrle(4-3) went 7 and 1/3 innings allowing 2 runs for the victory.
Buehrle got relief help from Matt Thornton who gained credit for his 2nd
