Miguel Cabrera blasted 2 homeruns as the Detroit Tigers defeated the Boston
Redsox by the score of 10 to 4 at Comerica Park.

Cabrera was a one-man wrecking crew. He cracked a two-run shot in the 1st
inning and brought the hometown folks to their feet with a Grand Slammer in
the 3rd inning. For the game Detroit out-hit Boston 10 to 7.

Max Scherzer(1-1) got the win allowing 4 runs in 7 and 2/3 innings. John
Lackey(3-1) was tagged with the loss. He allowed a few too many baserunners
giving up 5 hits and 2 walks in 2 innings.
