Fausto Carmona pitched a complete game as the Cleveland Indians bested the
Seattle Mariners 10 to 3 at SAFECO Field.

Cleveland took the lead off Doug Fister in the first inning scoring 3 runs on
4 base hits. After an out was recorded, Asdrubal Cabrera got things rolling
when he banged out a single. Shin-Soo Choo stepped up to the plate and he
smacked a single. Travis Hafner then ripped a base-hit. Matt Laporta came
up and he drew a walk to load the bases. Shelley Duncan was a strikeout
victim, unable to help out. Jayson Nix contributed to the rally and doubled.
Cleveland banged out 15 hits on the afternoon.

Carmona(1-3) finished the game allowing 3 runs in the victory. Fister(0-2)
suffered the loss. By surrending 3 runs in 1/3 of an inning his ERA jumped
from 4.50 to 8.53.

Wth the win Cleveland now has a record of 8-10. With this loss, Seattle has a
5-4 record of late, 5-4 overall.
