Left fielder Delmon Young had 5 hits and 5 RBI and Francisco Liriano held
Houston to 3 hits as the Houston Astros were badly beaten by the Minnesota
Twins, 15 to 1.

Young enjoyed a great day at the plate. He doubled in the 2nd inning, ripped
a one-base hit which plated a run in the 3rd inning, lined a single in the
5th inning, stroked a base-hit knocking in a run in the 7th inning and
clubbed a three-run home run in the 8th inning. Minnesota lit up the
scoreboard in the 3rd inning when they had 5 runs on 3 hits and the 8th
inning which saw them score 5 runs on 4 hits. Minnesota had a total of 15
hits for the game.

Liriano(2-2) was the winner allowing 1 run for the game. Bud Norris(0-3)
suffered the loss. He was unable to control the Minnesota offense and
allowed 6 hits and 2 walks in 2 and 1/3 innings.

'All of my pitches were working today,' Liriano said. 'I felt really good out
there, and heck, I think I could have gone longer.'
