Left fielder Carlos Gonzalez launched 2 homeruns as the Colorado Rockies beat
the Washington Nationals by a score of 7 to 5.

In the 4th inning Colorado went on top for good scoring a single run on 3 base
hits. The Washington batters went down meekly in the bottom of the 9th.

The win was credited to Rex Brothers(2-1) who went 2 and 2/3 innings allowing
no runs. Rafael Betancourt gained credit for his 6th save. Edwin
Jackson(0-2) was given the loss. He allowed 3 homeruns in 5 innings of work.
