Mike Minor threw a 2 hit shutout and Martin Prado went deep at Turner Field as
the Atlanta Braves beat the San Diego Padres by the count of 6 to
0.

Minor(2-3) was on top of his game. He didn't give up much, just 2 hits and 3
walks in 9 innings dropping his ERA from 3.71 to 2.78. Atlanta banged out 8
hits on the afternoon.

Anthony Bass(1-3) took the loss. He surrended 3 homeruns in his 6 innings.
Chris Couch was obviously impressed with the pitching of Minor, 'That guy
made us look a little silly out there this afternoon. We just couldn't get
to him at all - everything was working for him. I just hope that he got that
kinda performance out of his system.'
