Pablo Sandoval cracked a homer and had 3 RBI as the San Francisco Giants
outscored the Colorado Rockies 6 to 4.
The game started off with San Francisco taking the lead in the first when they
scored 3 runs on 3 hits. The key at-bat was by Sandoval who silenced the
stadium when he belted a three-run homer. For the game San Francisco out-hit
Colorado 14 to 9.
Matt Cain(4-1) allowed 4 runs in 7 innings, and picked up the victory.
Santiago Casilla recorded the save, his 6th. Christian Friedrich(0-2)
suffered the loss. He got hammered, allowing 7 hits and 2 walks in 4 and 1/3
innings.
'I just wanted to give my team a chance to win.' said Cain, 'I got burned on a
couple of pitches. But we won the game, and that's all that matters.'
