Chris Tillman had a strong outing and center fielder Adam Jones slammed a
homerun at Angel Stadium where the Baltimore Orioles beat the Los Angeles(AL)
Angels 5 to 0.

Baltimore scored 3 runs in the decisive 2nd inning when they had 4 base hits.
Matt Wieters started the inning off right when he ripped a single. Steve
Pearce followed next and he laced a base-hit. Nick Markakis then doubled
scoring two baserunners. J.J. Hardy stepped in and he hit a deep fly scoring
the final run of the inning. That early run support was enough for
Tillman(1-2) and Baltimore. Baltimore rapped out 11 hits for the afternoon.

Tommy Hanson(1-1) was given the loss. Craig Lombardi was very impressed with
his pitcher, Tillman, 'He had unusually good pitch placement this afternoon.
It was almost unfair - but a beautiful game to watch from where I sat'
