Addison Reed went 3 solid innings at US Cellular Field where the Chicago (AL)
Whitesox beat the Oakland A's in 11 innings by the score of 7 to 4.
 
The game was deadlocked at 4 after nine full innings.  Chicago (AL) ended up
winning it in the 11th inning.  Jordan Danks led off and started the attack
as he drew a walk.  Danks got a good lead and stole second.  Alejandro De Aza
then drew a walk.  Adam Dunn was up next and he lofted a three-run bomb
making Chicago (AL) victorious to the delight of the the home town crowd.
Chicago (AL) had just 6 hits for the afternoon.  
 
Reed(2-0) was the winner allowing no runs in 3 innings. Ryan Cook(2-1) was the
losing pitcher in relief.  He saw his ERA jump from 4.82 to 6.10 as gave up 2
runs in 1 inning.  
 
With this win, Chicago (AL) has a 6-8 record.  They have been 4-6 lately.
With the loss, Oakland has a record of 4-6 lately, 6-9 overall.
