The Baltimore Orioles edged the Tampa Bay Rays at Camden Yards by the score of
5 to 4.

The game started off with Baltimore taking the lead in the first scoring 3
runners on 3 hits. The big moment was provided by Chris Davis who
electrified Camden Yards when he cracked a two-run shot. Tampa Bay
threatened in the 9th but their rally came up short.

Freddy Garcia(1-0) got the win allowing 3 runs in 5 and 2/3 innings. Darren
O'Day got the save, his 1st. Chris Archer(1-3) ended up with the loss. He
served up 3 gopher balls in 6 and 2/3 innings.

Despite losing Joe Barrett was optimistic after the game. 'We'll get over
this one. Sometimes the breaks fall your way, sometimes they don't. Any one
of a dozen little things go different, and we come out on top.'
