Third baseman Adrian Beltre slammed a homerun and had 4 RBI at Rangers
Ballpark as the Texas Rangers beat the Los Angeles(AL) Angels by the count of
9 to 4.
 
It was a good day for Texas thanks to Beltre.  He belted a three-run homer in
the 1st inning, laced a one-base hit in the 3rd inning and doubled which
scored a run in the 5th inning.  Texas out-hit Los Angeles(AL) for the game,
11 hits to 5.  
 
The victory was credited to Alexi Ogando(1-2) who went 8 innings, allowing 4
runs. Garrett Richards(0-2) was hit with the loss.  By giving up 5 runs in 3
innings his ERA increased from 5.91 to 6.59.  
 
Texas now has a record of 9-6.  Los Angeles(AL) has a record of 11-9 after the
loss.
