WEB GEMS- Bot 7th: Prince Fielder robbed Brandon Barnes of a base hit.

First baseman Prince Fielder slammed a homerun and had 4 RBI and Anibal
Sanchez mowed down 12 Houston batters at Minute Maid Park where the Detroit
Tigers beat the Houston Astros 10 to 2.

Fielder had a big day against Houston. He lined a single in the 2nd inning,
ripped a one-base hit plating a run in the 5th inning and smacked a three-run
homer in the 6th inning. Detroit rapped out 13 hits for the afternoon.

Sanchez(1-0), allowing 2 runs for the game, picked up the victory. Dallas
Keuchel(0-1) was the loser. He was knocked around, surrendering 8 runs in 5
and 2/3 innings.

Sanchez was asked about his big strikeout performance, 'Well, it's a little
odd when you rack up these numbers on the road - instead of cheers and a
running tally in the stands, everything gets real still and quiet. Just
strange - but it's nice to be able to take the crowd out of the game.'
