Coco Crisp blasted a homerun and had 4 RBI as the Kansas City Royals defeated
the Cleveland Indians by a score of 7 to 5 at Kauffman Stadium.

The Kansas City fans enjoyed the offense provided by Crisp. He rifled a
three-run blast in the 1st inning, tripled in the 6th inning and tripled
knocking in a run in the 8th inning. Both teams ended up with 9 hits on the
afternoon.

The win was credited to Kyle Davies(1-1) who went 6 and 1/3 innings allowing 5
runs. Davies got help from Joakim Soria who was credited with his 3rd save.
Fausto Carmona(0-1) absorbed the loss.

Kansas City now has a record of 6-9. With the loss Cleveland now has a record
of 6-5.
