one-run game at Yankee Stadium. The final score was the Seattle Mariners 3,

winning it in the 10th inning. Kenji Johjima lofted a solo-blast 'downtown'.
One out later, Ronny Cedeno got his turn next, but he was a strikeout
victim. Seattle finished with 7 hits in the victory.

The winning pitcher was Sean White(2-0) who allowed no runs in 2 innings.
White got relief help from David Aardsma who gained credit for his 5th save.
