WEB GEMS- Top 6th: Adrian Beltre robbed Carlos Santana of a base hit.
Mike Napoli slammed 2 homeruns and had 7 RBI and C.J. Wilson completed the
game without help from the bullpen at Rangers Ballpark as the Texas Rangers
belted the Cleveland Indians by the count of 21 to 4.
Napoli was spectacular at the plate. He lined a one-base hit in the 1st
inning, cracked a two-run shot in the 5th inning, launched a three-run homer
in the 5th inning and doubled which plated a run in the 7th inning. Texas
kept the scorekeepers busy in the 5th inning when they had 9 runs on 7 hits
and the 8th inning with 7 runs on 6 hits. Texas totaled 21 hits on the
afternoon.
The win was credited to Wilson(4-0) who went the whole way allowing 4 runs.
Carlos Carrasco(0-2) ended up with the loss. He served up 4 homeruns in his
8 innings.
