Center fielder Austin Jackson had 2 base hits at Target Field where the
Detroit Tigers beat the Minnesota Twins in 10 innings by the score of 1 to
0.
 
Neither team managed to score in the first nine innings.  Detroit ended up
winning it in the 10th inning.  After an out was recorded, Ramon Santiago
doubled.  Jackson came to the plate and doubled.  Detroit had 7 hits for the
afternoon.  
 
The victory went to Duane Below(3-0) who went 1 and 2/3 innings, allowing no
runs. Jose Valverde recorded his 5th save.  Glen Perkins(0-2) was tagged with
the loss in relief.  He allowed 3 hits and 1 walk in 2 and 1/3 innings.
