Third baseman Mike Moustakas had 4 hits and 5 RBI at Kauffman Stadium as the
Kansas City Royals belted the Minnesota Twins by the count of 17 to
1.
 
Moustakas had a good day at the plate.  He ripped a base-hit scoring two
baserunners in the 1st inning, doubled in the 6th inning, doubled bringing in
a run in the 7th inning and laced a single bringing home two baserunners in
the 8th inning.  Kansas City bats were hot in the 1st inning with 6 runs on 6
hits.  Minnesota was out-hit by Kansas City, 21 hits to 7.  
 
Luke Hochevar(3-0) allowed 1 run in 8 innings, and picked up the victory.
Brian Duensing(0-3) ended up with the loss.  He surrendered 4 runs and 4 hits
in 2/3 of an inning.
