Mike Trout had 4 hits and scored 3 times and Jered Weaver whiffed 10 batters
at Angel Stadium where the Los Angeles(AL) Angels beat the Boston Redsox by
the score of 6 to 2.
 
Weaver(3-2) was very good in the win.  He allowed just 8 hits and 1 walk in 8
innings lowering his ERA to 3.24.  Boston was out-hit by Los Angeles(AL), 13
hits to 8.  
 
Clay Buchholz(2-1) ended up with the loss.  He allowed 13 hits and 2 walks in
8 innings.  Weaver was jubilant in the hometown clubhouse, 'It was a lot of
fun out there.  The fans gave me a lot of support as did my teammates.  We
got the victory and I'll sure take 10 strikeouts anytime!'
