Angels pulled off a dramatic comeback beating the Boston Redsox by the count
of 10 to 8.

Los Angeles(AL) came up with the deciding runs in the 9th inning plating 3
runs using 4 hits. Mark Trumbo led off and started the attack as he lined a
base-hit. Josh Hamilton followed and he laced a base-knock. Kendrick then

aggressive base running. Hank Conger followed, but he was set down on
strikes. Alberto Callaspo kept the rally going and drew a walk to load the
bases. Erick Aybar was next and he reached on an error plating another run.
Albert Pujols then lashed a single scoring the final run of the inning. A
wild affair, this game saw the lead change 6 times.

Kevin Jepsen(2-1) went 2 innings allowing 1 run for the win. Ernesto Frieri
preserved the game for Jepsen, recording his his 9th save. Junichi
Tazawa(2-1) was the losing pitcher in relief.

After the game, it took a long while before Andy Virostek emerged from his
office. In a subdued tone he answered only a couple of questions. He
concluded with, 'Fellows, sorry I'm not in a very talkative mood this
afternoon, as I think you'll understand. I'm sure you'll find the banter a
lot more light-hearted over in the Los Angeles(AL) locker room.'
