Raul Ibanez had 2 base hits at Rangers Ballpark as the Seattle Mariners beat
the Texas Rangers by the count of 7 to 5.
 
Seattle tallied 5 runs in the 6th inning when they came up with 4 base hits.
The big moment was provided by Henry Blanco who quieted the home crowd when
he doubled clearing the bases.  Overall Seattle out-hit Texas 10 to 6.
 
Aaron Harang(1-2) went 8 and 2/3 innings allowing 5 runs for the win. Harang
was helped out by Danny Farquhar who recorded his 3rd save.  The losing
pitcher was Alexi Ogando(1-3).  He pitched 6 innings giving up 6 hits
and 1 walk.
 
With this win, Seattle has a 16-13 record.  They have been 6-4 lately.  With
this loss, Texas has a 6-4 record of late, 11-9 overall.
