First baseman Brett Wallace cleared the bases with his grand slam as the
Houston Astros defeated the Seattle Mariners 7 to 3 at SAFECO Field.
 
The Seattle fans didn't appreciate the big day Wallace had.  He doubled in the
4th inning and quieted the crowd by clouting a Grand Slam in the 7th inning.
Houston had 9 hits overall, while Seattle had 4.  
 
Dallas Keuchel(1-1) went 8 and 1/3 innings allowing 3 runs for the win. Josh
Zeid earned the save, his 1st.  Danny Farquhar(0-1) was the losing pitcher in
relief.  Houston scored big getting 5 runs off him in 3 innings.
