37,243 fans were treated to a fine game at Target Field as only one run
separated the combatants at game's end.  The Seattle Mariners won by the
slimmest of margins, 3 to 2.
 
Seattle went ahead for good in the 7th inning plating one baserunner on 3 base
hits.  The Minnesota batters went down meekly in the bottom of the 9th.
 
The win went to Felix Hernandez(4-0) who allowed 1 run in 6 and 2/3 innings.
Danny Farquhar gained credit for his 2nd save.  Jared Burton(0-2) was given
the loss in relief.
