Scott Diamond took a no-hitter into the 7th inning as the Minnesota Twins
defeated the Toronto Bluejays by a score of 3 to 1 at Target
Field.
 
Diamond(1-4) was indeed brilliant as he hand-cuffed the Toronto offense.  He
surrendered only 2 hits and no walks in 8 innings.  The left-handed Diamond
lost a no-hitter when Jose Reyes doubled with nobody out in the 7th inning.
Minnesota finished with 7 hits while Toronto ended up with 2.  
 
Diamond got help from Glen Perkins who was credited with his 9th save.  R.A.
Dickey(2-4) suffered the loss.  He gave up 7 hits and 3 walks in 7 innings.
