Right fielder J.D. Drew jacked one out of the ballyard and had 2 RBI as the
Boston Redsox bested the ice-cold Minnesota Twins 6 to 3 at
Metrodome.

Boston drew first blood jumping out to an early lead in the first inning when
they tallied 3 runs on 4 hits. The biggest moment was provided by Drew who
deflated the crowd as he clubbed a two-run home run. Although they lost,
Minnesota did out-hit Boston 14 to 11.

The win was credited to Tim Wakefield(2-2) who went 5 innings allowing 1 run.
Takashi Saito was credited with his 2nd save. Nick Blackburn(2-3) was hit
with the loss. He was touched for 9 hits and 2 walks in 6 and 1/3 innings.
