Orlando Cabrera hit 2 doubles and had 2 RBI at Comerica Park as the Minnesota
Twins came back dramatically to top the Detroit Tigers by the score of 7 to
5.

Minnesota had the game winning rally in the 9th inning when they scored 4 runs
on 2 hits. The big moment was provided by Joe Mauer who deflated the mood of
the partisan fans when he cleared the bases with a Grand Slam homerun.
Although they lost, Detroit did out-hit Minnesota 14 to 10.

Matt Guerrier(2-0) went 1 and 1/3 innings allowing no runs for the win. Joe
Nathan earned his 4th save. Fernando Rodney(0-1) suffered the loss in
relief.

Chris Couch was understandably not very talkative after his team's tough loss.
He quickly showered and changed and when asked about the game had a terse,
yet polite response, 'Hey fellows, that game was a heart-breaker to lose.
Our guys gave it their all and played well - fate just wasn't smilin' on us
this afternoon'
