WEB GEMS- Bot 2nd: Eric Patterson robbed Taylor Teagarden of a Homerun!

Marlon Byrd ripped 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Texas Rangers outscored the
Oakland A's 5 to 2.

It was a good day for Texas thanks to Byrd. He lofted a solo-blast 'downtown'
in the 2nd inning and belted a three-run homer in the 7th inning. Oakland
had 10 hits in the game while Texas had 7, but Texas had the more timely
hits.

The win went to C.J. Wilson(2-0) who allowed no runs in 1 inning. Neftali
Feliz earned the save, his 4th. Brad Ziegler(0-1) suffered the loss in
relief. He gave up 2 runs and 1 hit in 1 and 1/3 innings.
