In a game for the baseball purist, Erik Bedard(3-0) and Brett Anderson(0-4)
squared off in a tense pitching duel, Seattle Mariners finally emerged
victorious over Oakland A's, 2 to 1.

Bedard pitched well for Seattle in their victory. He was reached for 7 hits
