Rajai Davis had 2 base hits as the Oakland A's defeated the Texas Rangers by a
score of 2 to 0 at Ameriquest Field.

Gio Gonzalez(2-4) gave Oakland a solid outing. He was reached for 5 hits and
1 walk in 5 innings seeing his ERA drop from 4.97 to 4.24. The pitchers took
over after the 2nd inning as neither team was able to score again.

Andrew Bailey preserved the game for Gonzalez, recording his his 2nd. The
loss was charged to Scott Feldman(3-1). The win by Oakland was very good
news as they had been 2-8 of late. Now their seasonal record improves to
6-23. With the loss, the Texas ballclub's record is 17-6.
