Catcher Mike Napoli smashed 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Texas Rangers won
in dramatic fashion over the Los Angeles(AL) Angels by a score of 7 to 6 at
Rangers Ballpark.
 
Texas came up with the deciding runs in the bottom of the 9th inning plating 3
runs on 2 hits.  Nelson Cruz led off and started the attack as he doubled.
Ian Kinsler stepped into the batter's box and he drew a walk.  Michael Young
was a strikeout victim, unable to help out.  Napoli was up next and he lost
the ball over the fence for three runs giving Texas the victory as 37,328
happy fans celebrated wildly.  It was roller coaster of a game as the lead
change hands 5 times.  
 
Joe Nathan(1-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 1 inning and allowing 3
runs. Ernesto Frieri(1-1) took the loss in relief.
