37,400 fans were treated to a fine game at Progressive Field as only one run
separated the combatants at game's end.  The blistering-hot Cleveland Indians
won by the slimmest of margins, 4 to 3.
 
Both teams were tied at 3 runs apiece after nine innings.  Cleveland was
victorious in the 10th inning.  After an out was recorded, Jack Hannahan drew
a walk.  Ezequiel Carrera came to the plate and tripled making Cleveland
victorious to the delight of the the home town crowd.  Cleveland managed only
6 hits on the afternoon.  
 
Chris Seddon(3-0) went 1 and 1/3 innings allowing no runs for the victory.
Fernando Rodney(1-1) was the losing pitcher in relief.  He surrendered 1 hit
and 1 walk in 1 and 1/3 innings.  
 
It was another victory for Cleveland at Progressive Field.  Now their winning
streak stands at 7 games. 'I'm glad to get the win', Seddon said.  'We've got
some good momentum going now.'
