The Minnesota Twins edged the Cleveland Indians at Metrodome by the score of 6
to 5.

J.C. Romero(2-0) was dominant in relief. No one got on base in his perfect 1
inning lowering his ERA from 2.08 to 1.86. Cleveland made it exciting in the
9th, but they were unable to push the needed runs across.

Romero got relief help from Joe Nathan who gained credit for his 7th save.
The losing pitcher was Scott Sauerbeck(1-1) in relief.
