Catcher Bengie Molina connected with a 'big fly' and had 2 RBI at Ameriquest
Field as the Los Angeles(AL) Angels beat the Texas Rangers in 10 innings by
the count of 5 to 4.

Both teams were tied at 3 runs apiece after nine innings. Los Angeles(AL)
came out on top in the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Garret
Anderson was the sparkplug when he laced a base-hit. Vladimir Guerrero
struck out, unable to help the rally. Molina then cleared the fences for a
two-run home run (his 3rd of the season). For the game Los Angeles(AL)
out-hit Texas 12 to 8.

Jason Christiansen(1-0) got the win allowing no runs in 1/3 of an inning.
Christiansen was helped out by Francisco Rodriguez who recorded his 10th
save. Francisco Cordero(0-2) absorbed the loss in relief.

Los Angeles(AL) continued their winnings ways improving their record to a
division leading 20-9. They are 8-2 in their last ten games. With the loss
Texas now has a record of 11-14.
